Fred McFeely Rogers (March 20, 1928 - February 27, 2003) was an American television personality, musician, puppeteer, writer, producer, and Presbyterian minister. He was the host of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, which featured his kind-hearted, grandfatherly personality, and directness to his audiences. He died of stomach cancer on February 27, 2003 at the age of 74. Daniel Tiger, the host of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood wears a red sweater similar to the sweaters he wore, except that it's bronze on the outside instead of silver, and gold on the inside.
